Come along to our information session to find out more.
Do you have a passion for the marine and coastal environments of the Central Coast?
Can you spare 1 day per month to help people learn about these amazing environments?
The Central Coast Marine Discovery Centre (CCMDC) is looking for volunteers to assist with delivering the broad range of community education, engagement and services at centre located at Terrigal.
The CCMDC is a community initiative that has been up and running since January, 2010. Our vision is to promote the sustainable use and enjoyment of our coasts, catchments and oceans. We do this through providing displays, special events, education programs and fun activities for all the community – but we can’t do this without the help of volunteers.
No special skills are required – just an enthusiasm about the ocean and our coast and a willingness to learn. Minimum age for volunteering is 15yrs old with no maximum age. Volunteers under 18 years require parental consent.
Volunteering opportunities are available both during the week - and on weekends.
If you think you might be interested in becoming part of our team – then:
